DualTake is an iPhone camera app that records one take and saves a vertical 9:16 video and a horizontal 16:9 video. It is published by Block Browser Inc, the seller named on its App Store listing, and built under the startupstartup.app label.
What we make and why
Creators who post to TikTok, Reels, Shorts and YouTube usually shoot the same thing twice, once tall and once wide. DualTake records the take once and saves both files, so you do not reshoot or reframe afterward.
It does not record the front and back cameras at once. It uses one camera and cuts the second file from the same frame. How the horizontal crop works explains the details.
How the app is paid for
Free to download, with a watermark and a 1 minute limit at 1080p. Premium is optional: Premium Weekly $0.99, Monthly $2.99, Yearly $19.99, Lifetime $39.99. There are no ads and no account.
